Your information, handled with care.
This notice explains what FlowOps collects during the loan-intake journey, why we use it, who receives it, and how long we keep it.
1. Information we collect
When you use the FlowOps intake or application-tracking journey, we may collect the information you provide and the technical information generated while you use the service.
- Applicant and contact data. This includes your name, email address, application or session identifier, and other contact details you choose to provide.
- Financial and application data. This includes declared income, loan amount and purpose, bank-statement-derived income and expenses, and cash-flow signals used to understand affordability.
- Employment information. We collect employment information when you supply it in an application or as part of a lender-routing flow.
- Technical and funnel data. This can include your IP address, browser or user-agent information, page visits, timestamps, and events connected to your application session.
2. How we use your information
FlowOps uses this information to process an application, analyze the financial information you provide, and produce an affordability profile. This includes affordability scoring, risk profiling, application tracking, and routing an application to a potentially suitable lender.
We also use the related event, routing, and consent records to operate the funnel, maintain an auditable record of the processing, and improve the reliability of the service.
3. When we share information
If your profile is matched, FlowOps discloses the application information needed to route it to the matched lender and the partners involved in that routing. Those recipients use the information to assess and respond to the application under their own processes and notices.
FlowOps is a routing and processing service; a lender, not FlowOps, makes the final lending decision.
4. POPIA consent and lawful basis
FlowOps relies on your informed data-subject consent as the lawful basis for this processing under section 11(1)(a) of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The consent checkbox explains the collection, use, and sharing involved in affordability scoring and lender routing.
Processing cannot proceed without your consent. If you do not agree, please do not submit the intake application.
5. Retention
FlowOps retains application, funnel-event, routing, and consent records for 90 days. This period supports application tracking and auditability; records are then deleted or de-identified where appropriate, subject to exceptions where a longer period is legally required or permitted.
6. Your choices
You may choose not to provide information or withdraw consent, but FlowOps will then be unable to continue the consent-gated intake, affordability scoring, or lender-routing process. You can review the Terms of Use for the conditions that apply when using the service.
